Reason to Believe

balance_scaleYou can’t claim that the good you witness is evidence of a good God, when you disregard the bad as God working in mysterious ways. Though you may wish it wasn’t so, in a chaotic universe governed by chance there exists both good and bad.

  1. In a chaotic universe there is neither governance or chance, only necessity; consequently, good and bad do not exist at all. There is what is and what is not, is not. The rest is just interpretation.

  2. If the God of the Bible exists and the Bible is true, we should be far more mystified when God does “good” things than “bad” because of our sin.
