  1. Religion is a detriment. It is full of rules that bind. A relationship with God who recognizes our imperfections and loves us in spite of them is very liberating. My encounters with Him and my walk with Him are / is a weightless release of peace and joy.

It seems incredible to me that people still believe that these confused, incoherent, misogynistic, intolerant, contradictory, ambiguous medieval texts are the word of some all-powerful god who created everything, controls everything yet refuses to show his face. It’s infantile. You can read whatever you want into them.
